Actually, this is a model 25. The 327 series supported 400-1000 watt HPS/MH and before 2008, MV lamps. The 327 has an Westinghouse OV-50 refractor look alike.

American Electric Model 25 Street Light

Here is an American Electric 25 street light that I saw in the parking lot of the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Marion County, Ocala, FL a few days ago. It is 250w something or another, possibly high-pressure sodium. Very neat, ENORMOUS street light!
