Is that price tag show that is only a buck?
lite_lover   [Aug 13, 2010 at 05:24 AM]
Yes,I bought the 50,100,150W and one of the 400 watters for a buck, and the other 400W (shown) which I picked up about 2 weeks earlier for $15.00.I guess the lamps weren't clearing fast enough at half price, then they dropped everything to $0.50 and $1.00,I grabbed a bunch and had half a shopping cart full of the worthwhile ones LOL. The HPS lamps were all regularly priced at $30 to $35 each, the store was clearing all their Philips lamps and now stocking Sylvania

where did you get all of these?
lite_lover   [Apr 13, 2013 at 03:39 AM]
I got these from a store called Otter Coop ,they were clearing all remaining Philips stock to make room for Sylvanias.

ahh at first i thought you got these at a home depot. i know the lowe's stores up there are getting rid ofthe HIDs but here the prices just keep going up on the HID lamps. Confused
lite_lover   [Apr 13, 2013 at 04:01 AM]
That's unfortunate the HID lamps in your area are going up Confused There is a Lowes that recently opened up here in another city not that far away, but I haven't been there yet. The restore here has some Sylvania 250W HPS for $6.00 each.

HID is getting harder to find at retail over here since Lowe's cut most of their stock and with HD here only selling a 70w HPS. I stocked up on lamps when Lowe's had them on clearance though so I should be good for a while.

Restore here is hit and miss with HID but if they do have them, the lamps are usually $5 each.

Yeah i think the price increase has mainly to do with the inflamation of the US dollar though. It seems everythign is going up except pacychecks. Confused When Lowe's and/or HD ever discontinue the stock of their HID lamps i'll swoop them all out if they're this cheap! Then I'll send out the ones i don't need to you guys! i like this style Philips packaging. Too bad they changed it. anyways, (...) click here [/url if you want three frosted 35W HPS Philips lamps for a dollar a piece.
