Simplex Fire Strobe
I like these. My elementary school (1992) had these. This is a medical building where my eye doctor is located. I assume this is from the 80s or 90s. What's interesting about these is that instead of a strobe light, it's got a normal halogen bulb that lights up each time the alarm buzzes (at least that's how the ones at my elementary school went).

The ones at my elementary school would do "march time" which is "HONK HONK HONK ... HONK HONK HONK ... HONK HONK HONK".

Nice ! My building is continuous, just like how Knight was. the start and stop "inrush" is something I like to stay away from.

This is march time "Simplex 2001-8001 Fire Alarm & Panel Reset" on youtube. Your school was code 3 ? march time is rare here

My middle school used the same horn sequence too but my high school was continuous (all Simplex). They were standard horns too but there was a new wing in my high school (~2000) that used horns that made you want to poke out your ear drums. A really high pitch chirping sound that hurts your ears. Ugh I hated fire drills when I was in that wing! The strobes/horns looked identical to the rest of the school's horns though aside from the different sound emitted.
