I would think that a strip of fluorescents would work & look better. Same with tunnel lighting where they now do the multiple HID thing. Helloooooo.....

that Probably wouldn't be so good in the Winter seeing how cold canada can be...and we all know Fluorescent lamps Hate Cold weather, lol

But Yeah ive seen Buildings with Strip fluorescent lights as exterior light, and the illumination is really stunning actually, its really bright and even.

I guess they wanted the store's name well illuminated,it was very bright. Umm Devonte,it's not that cold here in the winter on the West Coast,ya had more snow in Texas last winter LOL.

it's only yer imagination Darren...your Snow is Invisable, and its Clear so it blends in with the surroundings Laughing

Some of the stores here still use strip fluorescent lights outdoors but most newer ones use MH or HPS wallpacks and floods for lighting the store/signs. I guess it's because the fluorescents get pretty dim in the winter especially if it goes below -15 C (around 5 F)here. Other than the problems in the cold the fluorescents are pretty good and even at night.

A while back we also had a lot of fluorescent tunnel lights, highway sign lights, and store sign lights. Oh and Devonte we don't have invisible snow here, only the real stuff Laughing

The CVS (Consumer Value Store) stores around here still currently use strip fluorescent lights outdoors.
