Interesting, some of the shorter arms used here have a similar looking bracket on the pole end.

I once found two satellite dishes in a dumpster, last year I think. If I knew, I'd have taken the arms!

Now mount a M-1000 to it Razz

given that the dish itself barely weighs 3 Pounds i doubt that it would support a 40-60 Pound Fixture....silly niall. Laughing

Lightest fixture is about 10-15 pounds

Would a bucket light or a gumball work?
Form109   [Feb 21, 2011 at 09:37 PM]
probably so,i put the arm in the other way and Torqued the bolts that hold the arm in and the ones that prevent the arm from tilting down.

Good Idea tu use Satellite Dish Brackets as Street Lighting Brackets,

All the Best

Form 109: M-1000s can weigh up to 80 pounds. Shocked
Form109   [Feb 27, 2011 at 12:07 AM]
yeah i really doubt this arm would support that weight...the arm itself is probably capable..maybe,but the bracket would definetly bend, and the bolts i dont think are torqued tight enough to prevent the arm from swinging down (Adjustable Tilt).
