Got an old pie plate? Don't throw it away! Not even in the recycling bin! They can make crude-looking, yet efficient rain shield AND light reflector! This is my 2nd pie plate reflector. The first one suffered an horrible death by crush .... under my feet XD Fortunately my aunt recently brought us this delicious caramel pie, yum! It took this opportunity to steal a piece at 10pm, but also to take the aluminium plate to make another reflector. That allows me to use a simple socket outdoors without fear of lamp rupture due to rain... Keywords: Misc_Fixtures

Yeah I also think it does, maybe you should paint the top green and the bottom white so it looks even more like a radial wave.

My Grampa has done this to all ten of the lights in his barn.
