Maxlite magnetic spiral CFL I bought one of these brand new at Home Depot around 1993 for a post light after seeing a 4100K one on display. Disappointed that the one I bought was 2700K, I returned it. Then years later when I started collecting lamps, I wished I could find another one due to its unique design. Finally found this one in 2012. This has a magnetic choke ballast & argon starter in the base and the plastic cover is removable. Keywords: Lamps

Nice! Home Hardware used to sell a rebranded version of this. Must have been fairly rare as I only came across it once.
