2002 Fisher Pierce Photocell
Made on July 30, 2002. This one worked fine so no surgery was required. It's an electronic/electromagnetic hybrid. Looks electronic from the outside looking at the window but there is an EM relay inside. Looks like it could be NOS too!

I have one of these electronic/electromagnetic photocontrols too. Mine is green. These are Fisher Pierce's "AccuSwitch" model.

It's pretty cool. And apparently pretty reliable too, since it still works.

The outward style of these hasn't changed in like 35 years! Laughing

This design was used from 1990-ish to around 2003-ish, so only close to 15 years. The cover design has changed numerous times. Before 1990 they were hard plastic with the window glued in from the front. from 1972 or 1973 to 1980, the covers were hard plastic with internally glued windows, much like the newer ones. In 1971 and possibly 1972, they has three ridges in them like DTL or Ripley photocells. Before that, the covers were clear and painted whatever color they had to be. (which generally always faded white).
