Woah i got the same exact one and only does the flickering thing when the lights in the room are on....... and in a dark room they flicker less, since light exites the gas in the bad tube.

Light Excites Gas in a Bad Tube?...never heard of that...anyways these Flicker a little...but the Dimmest ones are Dead..or Dying.

I have been collecting these power centres of various styles - I have 5 of them just to control the various streetlights & other lights in my garage display, and then 4 more in other areas of the home, also to control lights. Very convenient, and they show up all the time in thrift stores. Many have LEDs or no indicator lights at all, but I like the neon ones best. Unfortunately dying neons do that flickering thing, the only solution is to replace the entire switch. Blacklights do a great job at "temporarily reviving" those flickeing neons.

I presume they are Tripp-Lite power box that I have seen at my work. Some are dying and some are still in use.

im Not Sure...there wasnt any Label that Pointed to a Brand Name...all the Outlets and Switches work on this one...and i still gotta admit...this is much better than a Power Strip!
