Nice job Jace, it must be pretty bright with all those HIDs all running at the same time. Cool
GullWhiz   [Dec 27, 2009 at 10:22 AM]
yeah it sure is...and with nice effects in the room with all various of colors!

FGS...it's not missing ONE ballast Wink

Yes it is Form109...it is indeed a mini fan...

Thanks all of ya!

Lemme tell you guys this. I saw this thing in person when I went North to meet Jace last year. It gotta be the coolest ballast box I have seen so far. Heavy too. Hehehehe.

Lamps used are:
39w GE CMH par lamp made in Mexico
100w Venture QMH ED-17 lamp made in the US
175w Sylvania MV BT-28 lamp made in the US
100w Sylvania MV BT-25 lamp made in the US (A /N lamp, which look weird when off.)
100w Westinghouse HPS BT-25 lamp made in the US
35w Philips HPS ED-17 lamp made in the US
Not present would be a 70w HPS lamp which will be powered by my F-Can HPS ballast that I gave him.

What is with the flood?
FGS   [Jan 02, 2010 at 03:33 AM]
It's 39w so it seems dimmer than the rest.
GullWhiz   [Jan 02, 2010 at 04:15 AM]
and it is because it is a 25 degree beam...so basically its more of a spot light so it is in an angle that is not shining at the camera.....

and FGS...the Westinghouse HPS...is actually 50 watt.....buddy....
FGS   [Jan 02, 2010 at 04:24 AM]
Oh, yeah. Thought you said it was 100w.
Mercury Man   [Jan 02, 2010 at 04:24 AM]
Nicely made, Jason. I like this here.
GullWhiz   [Jan 02, 2010 at 04:32 AM]
Thanks Brian, I am still continuing to add ballasts and sockets. Smile
gailgrove   [Jan 03, 2010 at 11:16 PM]
Nice box!
GullWhiz   [Jan 16, 2010 at 02:31 PM]
thanks! still planning to add more!
gailgrove   [Jan 21, 2010 at 11:20 PM]
Hey Jace any chance we could get a inside shot Wink
GullWhiz   [Jan 22, 2010 at 04:46 AM]
oh sure!
A_lights   [Feb 06, 2010 at 01:35 AM]
@Jace: you could get a 50W MH lamp for the 39W ballast it would be less likely to explode at EOL and the color is still close on mine, with the 50W lamp. I thought you said this ballast died though.
GullWhiz   [Feb 06, 2010 at 10:16 AM]
yeah the 39 watt ballast died... and FGS one more correction...the 35 watt HPS is a 35 watt Sylvania E shaped...not ED Razz
Form109   [Jul 25, 2010 at 01:46 AM]
what is that Cone Shaped Thing around the Small HPS in the Back Row?...a Refractor?
FGS   [Jul 25, 2010 at 02:22 AM]
Diffuser glass shade. It's on an adapter so someone can convert a plain lamp holder fixture to a shaded one.
GullWhiz   [Jul 25, 2010 at 02:56 AM]
Yep FGS got that correct!
