US Philips Alto F96T12 HO lamps in "New Pharm" shop in Canyon Haifa mall Being ALTO, they aren't more bright then a standard daylight T8 of 36W fluorescent lamp of the same phosphor type. The fixtures are Gaash or another israeli manufacturer and the ballasts are Eltam rapidstart autotransformer ballasts for one T12 of 105W, with the same ignition fashion of the american magnetic rapidstarts (Several Rapidstart ballasts for 20W & 40W of Eltam preheated the electrodes before applying current and several operated on the fashion of the trigger starts). These lamps tends to reach EOL before all of their mercury consumed, since i never saw these type of lamps in mercury starved mode, despite they are ALTOs. Keywords: Lit_Lighting

These lamps are rare now in Israel and are almost extinct here.
