That's why I don't use low voltage lighting. The time of year I need them the most, they'd be buried.

I have to take my westinghouse solar ligthts in during the winter. I made the mistake of leaving them out and the insides literally rusted to bits after being buried for a couple month under 2 feet of snow. Mad I had to get all new ones execpt for one, which dies later that year. The new ones have ben going strong for 2 years now with no fails yet.
