Yes, Marvin was world wide, but all his stuff had a heavy Scandinavian atmosphere. Some would say it was Icelandic but it is so hard to tell as of most buildings in places like Malmö, Sweeden are model after this style, Denmark is a huge hot spot or this. Knight is right outa Scandinavia, when first opened it had "houses" like a middle school it was open concept learning, you would come off the main hall and open the double doors the see a huge open room. I love open concept learning but sadly they closed most of them in around here, The communism aspect of it scared to many. I understand, the 70s was a scary time I am not blaming them. LOL wow that's some stuff I never knew! BTW, Lithonia lighting makes similar looking fixtures. They used to be made in incandescent and HID but now just LED.
Yes, Lithonia is into that, LED is not to safe after the study Iceland did, High levels 70lm per sqft or so can increase skin cancer. My friends in Scandinavia say it was common knowledge to them that LED is not to safe, why the study was done. I don't know what "increase" means, we all saw the globe warming scam scare. We should be careful tho and for people who work under LED lights should try to find a different light source and after that I am removing LED fixtures for Mastercolor sb par lamps all over the building, MH is very safe for people.
