Oh wow I didn't realize the cafeteria was that far over lol. Forgot there's all that dead space where the second floor ramp is. I wonder why they didn't make more classrooms over there. Especially on the 4ft floor near the "CHANGING LIVES FOR 50 YEARS" banner. There's already a ceiling from the 6th floor so all they had to do was add walls. Just another mystery of Knight lol.
BTW, did you ever look up the Fogarty building at the Ladd School in Exeter? Way cool building but some heinous stuff went on there. The building is round like the library and theater portion of Knight.
Wow ! That is one strange school. as for Knight not having class rooms there I would say the stiar well got in the way, also massive duck work is there, I would of fit one more class room in but thats just me. It is so cool how the skylights go thro the 6 floor to the cafeteria
The highest number is six but there's no fifth floor (it's just a loft in the library. Shouldn't count as a level IMO) and they start with floor zero so it actually does work out to six floors. It's weird to a newcomer though because it goes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and the main ramp everyone typically enters through leads you to the second floor lol.
Yeah the 4th floor has a taller ceiling than other levels because of there being no 5th floor. You'll notice when taking the stairs up to the sixth floor there's an extra half-flight between the 4th and 6th floors than there is between the other levels.
