Here's a Paralta Equipment Co. brand flashing barricade light which originally was manual on and off.I replaced the manual components with the inards from an automatic LED flasher from a newer damaged light.
Voltage: 6V
Made in: USA
I have one just like this one....but it has LED...but now somehow it won't work anymore....by the way I am just guessing did you use a slightly longer shutter to make it appear on and brightly?
At one time with the help of my parents we stole the construction barrier that was set up at the dead end at my paternal grandparent's home at the mid-1970's. I dismantled the barrier and kept the light fixture. Eventually I took it apart. I no longer have that.
We have such light in refurbished roads, i think also with one amber LED.
They are operated from a battery.
Most of them runs out their batteries very fast resulting in low light or not operating at all.
Several of them also have low brightness orange LEDs.
I got one of these now, white though. Incandescent. Got it from my English teacher. xD Mine seems to be solar.. When it is bright out the light doesn't blink.
Yep mine takes two 6 volt lantern batteries as well. The PC is pretty tiny...it might be on the small circuit board or mounted inside the "candle" that holds the bulb.
Mine also take two 6 volt batteries too but I direct wired it to an AC adapter. Mine doesn't have a PC though, it has a push switch hidden behind a hole in the centre of the battery case.
