Almost finished!
The only big upgrade I need to do is that display shelf that is going over the workbench (at left). The fluorescent fixtures will eventually be permanently cabled and connected to my 30A fuse panel (on the currently unused circuit).

But here's how my new workshop will roughly look like! ^__^

Would you like a picture of my dad's workshop table? It may give you ideas! It was built my by dad and looks very similar to yours but with some added features!

Nice job Vince, Cool I see that you're storing your four footers below the workbench on the left.

My workshop is shared with the garage and only has a small 2' X 4' workbench so I have to keep most of my stuff put away on shelves when I'm doing something else

Yup, I now store them below the workbench. I placed them so I can reach the tubes without moving the cases. Behind them will go boxes of stuff I don't need often.

Here's an idea....set up sets of sockets from F4 to maybe F40 on some kind of board with wires coming from the back...maybe connected to terminal bus or something so you can test ballasts without needing to dig sockets and insert lamps....the lamps already set up on wall on a board......(never connected to mains or anything, only connected during a testing)
