A pink MH floodlight lighting plants near the promenade of kibbutz Ein-Gev
|
Since the spectrum of the lamp in this floodlight closely matches the photosynthesis curve of the plants (Violet and blue lines from indium and orange line from sodium), i bet that these plants continues to do photosynthesis and to grow even at night until the floodlight went out.
If this flood operates until the morning, these plants may be active continuously.
Anyway, the spectrum of the pink (Or magenta) MH lamps, are the most suited MH spectrum for plant growth then most american plant growing MH lamps (Since almost all american MH lamps for plant growing that sold, are based on Na-Sc or rare-earths [They are literally: general purpose white MH that solds as plant growing lamps] to simulate the entrie sunlight, while the pink MH lamps produces ONLY the wavelengths that required by plants for photosynthesis and hence the performance of the Pink MH lamps are better).
