Looks like the Sun through some sort of Dark Filter...probably not tho.

Nope, that's a COLD answer! Anymore guesses?
Form109   [Jan 15, 2011 at 09:09 AM]
i'll take ONE more swing at it with two stones Smile

a Metal Halide Burner.

a Carbon Arc.

Looking at the railing or windows to the bottom, I would guess a welding arc?

I would guess the red spots are the infrared light that comes out the back of an MR-16 halogen lamp shining through some kind of mesh cover and the white light is the beam from it.

A series incandescent C2V filament a in Pasadena radial wave.

The arc is the closest answer but its not a carbon arc nor arc welding. Think of the racks and what goes on them. Any idea?

Spark from static shock?
Silverliner14B   [Jan 16, 2011 at 03:22 AM]
Ok you all lost lol. I will say it now. This is arcing from a failed heating element in our oven. It made an awful noise and the lights dimmed, sure enough the top element just burnt up! Nasty!
TiCoune66   [Jan 16, 2011 at 03:28 AM]
I've seen that a couple of times before. It usually occurs when the coil inside opens. Sometimes it arcs, and the heat of the arc starts a chemical reaction in the magnesium-based powder inside.

Basically you've got a sparkler!

Hopefully it is not a Whirlpool, where the spares are obsolete even before all the stock is sold.
