Nice, I miss seeing these around my neighbourhood. I don't miss poorly maintained HPS thought. Laughing

Yeah our LED changeover seems to be on halt for a few months now.

Hmm surprised the ignitor hasn't given up. Cycling 24/7 for a year. Laughing Can't imagine it's good for the ignitor, as it's only designed to run for a couple seconds to start the lamp, which should in theory require one start per day. I've noticed ignitors are hit or miss though. Some can take cycling lamps for years while other crap out after just a couple years. The early HPS lights from the 70s had high premature ignitor failure rates, though the ones that survived past a certain point continued on and lasted a long time. There's still a good number of M-400 split doors and ITT 25s here from the early-mid 1980s. Some spot replacements here and there but for the most part they've lasted.

I came through here a bit in the winter months at night and day and it was always trying to start up. Seems to still be doing it or it has been looked into and fixed, and then repeated cycling. This B2255 and Model 25 were both bad for cycling over the last few years, the B2255 has been cycling and staying out more frequently than the Model 25, yet the Model 25 was just OVF'd in June and nothings changed for the B2255. Hopefully the B2255 can still be saved lol.
