These are actually round signals with square doors! Well, two are. These also have cutaway visors which are super rare here as the tunnel style is the norm here. These have long been LED though.
Nice find! Can't tell exactly on my phone screen but they sound like they're Econolite bullseye signals which were made in two models, the other model had round doors.
Cutaway visors are as common as gulls here in Ontario.
The bullseyes can be as early as the later 1950s, to as late as the mid 1970s. After that they switched to the aluminum button-back design and a big and boxy polycarbonate model.
Before the 1950s Econolite was not producing their own signals...they only were a subcontractor and distributor for GE's traffic line
