Dialight 12" Integrated Signal Light Head
Front view of the 12" Dialight.

I've followed this signal from Dialights announcement that this was being developed, through the design changes to these sample units. They are not in production yet. Dialight has a few orders for sample/test units. I am one of the first orders for this brand new signal model.

This is Dialight's very first and only full traffic signal head. They're much more known for their LED traffic inserts that fit on the doors of any regular signal. Its designed to have the LEDs integrated into the head.

Nice! Glad to see you finally got it. I wonder if a 8" version is also planned. I know not a lot of places still use 8" though.

No 8 inch planned, no aluminum planned. Available in 12 inch poly only. No arrows yet either, they're still working on the masks. Also, no visors either! These sales units come with Eagle poly visors

Awesome that it arrived! Does this signal perform better than one with a drop-in LED module? How is this better than an LED module performance wise? I like the idea though! Is the green on this overbearingly bright like other LED greens? Those are REALLY bright at night. I'd say too bright. Do they make signals that dim the modules at night but keep them at full brightness during the day? The older exposed LED modules don't seem as bad but they do it too.

Thanks! Its been a long process and alot of moving order dates. I havent powered it up yet...planning on that today! This cant be dimmed but some LED signals...the Intelight and the GE GTX module are capable of dimming
