Cool! How is the distirbution across the lens compared to the sealed modules? Is there any "blind spots" where you look at the signal at a certain angle and you can't reqlly tell what color is lit? I know some of the LED modules here will appear to go out if the signals rock back and forth on a windy day because the modules won't direct the light at certain angles so if you're viewing the module at an off-angle it will appear dim or not even lit.

Yeah, I've noticed that some newer modules have a narrower viewing angle.

The light distribution across the lens is great! It has a real sharp indication when lit! Most newer modules are designed with higher power LED electronics, inside. Older units were built to an earlier specification that used LEDs that had a more direct light output so when they swung around they tended to look like they fade in and out. New ones don't do it as badly.
