What is the normal color of the heads? It could be that the overhead was damaged by the tree, and they only had a green one on the truck. Or the primary (on the pole) was damaged say by a large van too close to the pole an scraping it off, and they only had a yellow head. BTW in Calif most signal heads are green, but some cities paint the backs a different color.

Happens to my area often....in fact some traffic lights would have mixed visor colors!

The Normal Color Varies...alot of the Old Signals in Dallas are Green which used to be a Pretty Popular Color...the New Signals in Dallas are Yellow, which seems to be the most Dominant color in the US...other wise most Manufactures offer Custom Colors.

Sometimes its normal for a Color Combo...for example a Yellow Signal Head with Black Visors.
