Glass vs Poly Lenses
Here's a shot of the difference between glass and older poly lenses. You can see that the glass lenses have more blue to them compared to the plastic lens. Later plastic lenses had more blue like the glass lens. Both signals are CGE heads with 60w signal bulbs.

I guess it is cheaper and lighter when use the polycarbonate lens over glass lens Confused

Ah thanks for the comparison pic. Yeah my Peek signal's lenses are blueish like the glass ones. I personally prefer the true green look of the older polycarbonate lenses.
