Yeah that is a sad looking light,looks like a dent near the bottom too.I see a dayburner in front of the Ford dealer.Is that single conductor on the top of the poles to help prevent lightning from striking the primaries? That set-up on the poles seems quite common in Texas and Oklahoma.

Yes thats a Dayburner....and i dunno about the Top Wire.....its Connected to a Wire Running down to an Earth Connection....but it varies....mostly i see an Earth Wire Running Below the Primaries....some Larger Lines have them on top though...they seem more effective Lightning Arrestors on top than Below.

Wonder if the arm got damaged when the pole was hit.

you know i really didnt see that Dent at the Bottom of the pole until you Pointed it out.....yeah that could be it.
