Hey can you get a Closeup of the Back of this Signal Head?
gailgrove   [Sep 09, 2010 at 09:54 PM]
This would be manufactured by Fortran traffic, the same as my 12-8-8 signal Smile
joe_347V   [Sep 10, 2010 at 03:59 AM]
I'll try to get a pic from the back but Niall's signal is from the same manufacturer except that it's in a 12-8-8 config. Wink
streetlight98   [Jan 12, 2013 at 01:25 AM]
hmm fortran's design seems similar to Peek's design.
joe_347V   [Jan 12, 2013 at 02:48 AM]
Yeah Fortran's poly signals are based off the Crouse Hinds Type R design which is also used by Chapel Hill, Peek, and TCT.

Fortran's aluminium signals are based off the CGE design since they bought their old molds. The CGE design dates back to the 1940s GE grooveback design.

Ooo! do you have a pic of the CGE design? Cool
joe_347V   [Jan 13, 2013 at 12:52 AM]
Yeah, I have some here's the 8" design and here's the 12" design. The 8" design is pretty close to the grooveback design except with made in Canada added.
