Left-down arrow means: right lane blocked.
Right-down arrow means: left lane blocked.

Interesting.....with the arrows.....I mean why they use arrows...why can't they just put the blockage DIRECTLY at the lane that's blocked?

For ours....we just have arrow right at the blockage that tells to move to the next lane...like if the left lane is blocked...the flashing arrow is put on the closed lane and it flashes right to tell us to move to the right lane...and vice versa...

Jace, this is to allow the drivers to integrate with the other cars safely and to prevent hits with the blocked lane.
