Westinghouse High Wattage RLM Dome Light Got this from my neighbor who passed away last week. Her late husband had two of them sitting in the rafters in their garage. They had 300 watt lamps in them, both of which burned out long ago. So I got this light earlier this week. It was filthy, dusty, and had the old twisted pair #14 stranded wire for the socket leads. Took it apart, cleaned it, rewired with #12 THHN and presto! Screw a GE 500 watt Silvered Bowl lamp in and good to go! I was amazed how well the enamel looked after being neglected for so long. This light must be at least 70-80 years old. Keywords: Indoor_Fixtures

Nice! These fixtures are so basic but such an awesome design. All the better that the porcelain is without any major blemishes. I noticed you mentioned there being two, but it sounds like you only have the one? What happened to the other one?

Update!! Got the second light and gave it a good cleaning and rewiring. Now to figure out where to put it since I've had to dismantle my workshop and have to start new.

Simple. it was my neighbor's and he gave it to me, along with a 4 lamp F48 slimline fixture.
