I saw in Israel in the past, these SL Prismatics. In Kibbutz Givat Hayim Ichood, The electricians had several of these lamps.
Philips discontinued the SL Prismatic in favor of the SL-E Prismatic with a lower weight, flicker free electronic ballast (Instant start) and today the prismatic cover replaced with a clear one and the lamp became simply SL Electronic, but the ballast was improved because Philips directed the current lamp to the professional sector.
I personally don't like the flashing of fluorescents ignited by glow starters in preheat magnetic ballasts.
