Yeah that's the exact same ballast that was in my F30 strip before I converted it to preheat.

Ive found those NPF ballasts for single lamp kill the 25W" shoplite" lamps very fast and especially when they are ON/OFF frequently!
i just replaced an advance one from the 50's in a friends house, the ballast had leaked tar and changed it with a GE keystone single lamp ballast that they had purchased, i would have used a HPF single lamp magnetek instead tho. I used a 3,000K F40T12 alto lamp too, i hope it lasts LOL

I find those single lamp NPF ballasts to be the toughest ones that ever existed. They're not super efficient, but they're good for nightlights!

do you mean the NPF F40T12/RS ballasts?
