Whoa Shocked That's a awesome looking fixture, I'd imagine that these would be used indoors in large public places like a railway station instead of a large chandelier back in the day...

I bet you could make one out of a couple of trash can lids and some pipe, and a cheap Chi-Com mushroom light for the bottom. Sneak in and swap it out. How longdo you think he'd notice? Laughing

@rlshieldjr: Any nice thing is made of the same basic material as the c**p around. But the difference is, how it is put together. So you can make nice fixture from a trash-bucket as well as piece of c**p from best quality steel...

@rlshieldjr-GREAT IDEA!!!! Laughing
@gailgrove-Yes and some old GEs too! The guy doesn't use this fixture, he only lit it so my friend could get pics. Some of the lamps look like '50s vintage!!
Tmcdllr   [Jun 24, 2010 at 06:22 AM]
WOW LOOK AT THAT!!!
Medved   [Jun 24, 2010 at 08:07 PM]
Some of them are dead... Sad
DimBulb   [Jun 24, 2010 at 11:38 PM]
I think the lamp on this side has a stuck starter contact. A lamp on the other side is completely dead.
Silverliner14B   [Jun 25, 2010 at 02:34 AM]
Yeah most likely a stuck starter. Although if the ends are flickering, most likely the lamp is bad.
