Spot the differences!
Those are two OV-15 Silverliners, the wattages are different, but it's not what I am talking about or looking for.

The one on the left is from 1968 and the one on the right is from 1973. The casings and reflector actually has some minor differences. Can you spot them all?!

The right one has those two notches each side of the latch, the terminal blocks look different, the latch locks in farther on the right one. Also looks like there could be different ballast mounting options as well.

For the latch, I kinda forgot to press the latch farther in on the left....it sometimes won't latch all the way in..with the spring just pressing it helps....There's more differences too!!!!

Mine! One's clean, one's dirty. Door design's different.

Looks like the fixture on the right has the Westy logo on the bottom door, and the left one, can't be sure, but appears to just have a circle.

The dirty one looks like it might have a Newer Ballast in it...while the clean one looks like it has an Older or Original Ballast.

nope the ballast is original in the dirty one too it has a Westinghouse Label....in fact a lot of OV-15s from the 70s tend to have clean looking ballasts......

Later Westinghouse models also used 3/8" threaded rod rather than 1/2" in the slipfitters.
