One of six surviving series incandescents - Tacoma, Washington 2013
Four of these survivors on deteriorating concrete poles are spaced with literally one per block. They all worked and are run off the same regulator that also operates the HPS cobras on the main street. I watched one of them switch on - just amazing to see 1920's-era lighting still in use in 2013!

There is a neighborhood in Santa Ana, CA that still has series incandescents still in use on vintage poles, as well as a few gumballs.
