I have some of these installed (soft whites). DO NOT run them horizontally or they'll dim out to the brightness of ~40W incandescent in a matter of months or a year or two. Bad, bad lamp to run horizontally. Never had issues running vertical though (besides dead out of the box lamps or ones that lost vacuum about a half hour after running. Rolling Eyes ) I find better luck with the Sylvania halogens.
