MH Gumball and MV Yardlight
Here's a shot of a MH gumball and a MV yardlight mounted on neighbouring poles at a drawbridge in Toronto. I wonder why they decided to use MV yardlights on the bridge instead of using the same MH gumballs. Anyways, I personally think it looks quite tacky to see a yardlight being used as a streetlight.

Oh Man!...Finally this Happens Somewhere Else!...one utility (Wood County Electric) which Serves Wood County,Texas does this in their County Seat of Quitman...all the Older Streetlights are Nema Heads...but some got Replaced with Blasters (The Older Good Ones)...since the MV Buckets are Widely Avalible New Anymore i wonder will they use MH or HPS Buckets now.

Really there are MV in Toronto Shocked I never would of thought so.

Yep I believe the yardlights are still MV since the utility even wrote "MV 175W" on the head of it. This is also the first MV light that I found still used on a public road.

That looks funny although I have never seen a MH gumball before.

They where converted a few years ago from incandescent!

Much better than replacing with a new fixture.
