Gumball on Old Utility Pole
Here's a shot of a gumball mounted on a old utility pole in downtown Toronto. The thing I like about Toronto is that they kept some of their utility poles vintage looking with the old style crossarms and the old square power transformers. I kind of felt a B & W picture looked better in this shot than colour.

By the vintage setup Of the crossarms and where the XFMER is located, I'd say maybe the 30's.

Interesting, Toronto is only place I know of that still uses setups like these.
Antstar85   [Sep 03, 2011 at 03:54 AM]
yeah, ive seen some stuff like that here but they're the round XFMERs

Amazing this old stuff is still around, and they wonder why Toronto has so many blackouts in many places...

Yeah some of them look like they're straight from a history book. Shocked Laughing
