[Gone] Powerlite Fluorescent Streeetlight
Here's a pic of a old streetlight on one of the offramps on the Don Valley Parkway, this one and it's partner on the very right of the pic dosen't work at night though. I think this one is either a fluorescent or a LPS light but I think most likely it's LPS since the pics I've seen of the old fluorescent lights had longer fixtures on the pole.

Update: this has been identified as a Powerlite fixture and has since been replaced with an HPS AEL 125.

I`ve seen them too, I tried to get a picture but it came out blurry, I also think there LPS, I also noticed a there is a single LPS fixture on one of the gardiner express ways off ramps, I guess they missed it during the change out.

I think I know which fixture you're talking about on the Gardiner, I think I might have a pic somewhere of it which I'll post if I find it Wink

Go for the fixture, reach up HIGH, GRAB...and most importantly....RUN!

UPDATE: this (along with its partner across the street) has been replaced by a 125, Confused I think this was a Powerlite fluorescent streetlight since it shares a similar design as this.

MINE? I'm starting to think this is actually a fluorescent fixture since the LPS ones were a bit more tubular.
