These bracket lumes are commonly in rural areas here as security lights, this one is a Sylvania Powerlite but I've also come across GE PowrBrackets and maybe even those Douglas Powerbackets.
Nice shot Joseph, these started out as Powerlite Devices, then Sylvania, and currently this model produced by AEL as a Dusk To Dawn.Your pic looks like a Sylvania era fixture.
Powr/Brackets arn't used here. We use NEMA heads in the few areas that bucket optics are used. Even in rural areas we use cobraheads. Pascoag Electric, which is a small utility in NW RI, uses NEMAs. That's where RI's Durastar population is. THey currently use AEL 115. The tags say 05 instead of 5 like most do. AEL does that for some reason on some of their lights.
