Same fixture as Regennis' pic except the owner of the pic is shown below with the Gull. The 4A-539 is seen on many of the Reveres' slip fitters. Part number of the slip fitter or model number for the whole fixture.
seems like a rather silly reason not to like this cool oldie light...the downward angle of the slipfitter makes it rather unique,plus these are rare finds!
@ Devonte; just because it's old and unique doesn't mean I have to like it. Personally i think all the Revere lights i've seen are just ugly and mutilated versions of the 60s GE and Westinghouse lights. For example, this remembles a GE Form 175 that looks like it just got ran over by a car. I wouldn't mind it as much if they didn't make every one of their lights based off the GE and westie lights of that time.
