Not sure but the front of these look and the lenses on some look like aluminium CGE/Fortran heads. Maybe the back is actually a cover...

Yeah, maybe they are just covers, regardless they are huge! They also seem to be still installed so some company must still make them.

Did you see the shape of different colors? square, diamond and circular.

Yes I saw the different shapes, rather interesting. The colours used are luckily the same as everywhere else, they also all have two red lenses.
