I love these, but the 'real' ones from the 80's/early_90's where 50% of the bulbs twinkle Smile

I used to have the older set with some twinkle lights as you mentioned, I must have lost it some place Sad

Luckily, my Mom bought this by mistake thinking these are steady glow for small christmas tree light string replacement.

I have a number of sets the older ones Smile LOL
I think i have a set of the 'newer' type from Walmart, just like what you have pictured here as well Smile
I had multiple sets of Walgreens ones (the 'newer' type), but they got sold on eBay...
