@ streetlight98, Wow! let me know what you find any fluorescent lamps there.
joe_347V   [Apr 15, 2013 at 05:32 AM]
Yeah, some Restores have a lot of good stuff while some don't have much. This one had a bit today, although the HID was a present surprise too. I've seen HID ballasts and vintage mercs before at Restore too. Shocked

@ chrislights71: yep i'll post lots of pics! If i find some lamps i don't want and their at a really good price then you or anyone can have them for shipping and the price i pay for them. As soon as i read "tons of fluorescent light bulbs in just about any size (no 8ft lamps)" i was like ''yep, i'm going!'' though i doubt the lamps will be priced as good as they are at the restore... They also have fluorescent fixtures too but unless i find anything magnetic I won't be getting it. i'd rather get the lamps over the fixtures if the lamps are older and full-mercury. Who knows, maybe there will be a full case of daylihgt Westie F90T17s for only $10 or something! Well, in my hopes and dreams maybe lol.

The ReStores vary a lot. Most of them...I don't find anything interesting. But one of them I found the F20T12 cool greens, 21w 2-D adapter and lamp, and an EYE heat-start HPS retrofit lamp. The price for the odd lamps are usually quite cheap; it's amazing how much you can get for $10. The NIB fixtures are relatively pricey though.

Yeah, some have only have incandescent stuff while some sell the odd stuff like HID.

xmaslightguy   [Apr 20, 2013 at 09:16 PM]
if it were me I'd be grabbing those 4' VHO lamps Smile LOL
Also see a nice selection of shorter aquarium lamps...those would be comeing home too Cool

I grabbed a pair of the VHOs, but one had a loose heat shield and the other didn't work for some reason.

I'd be grabbing those colored PARs...
The Restore I went to had some HID stuff...they even had a Regent/Cooper 175w MV yardlight which I would've bought but it was bulbless and $20.
