70W HPS Crouse-Hinds L-150
|
This is in front of my mom's friend's house. It was dayburning ever since i was a kid. It must've been fixed recently, because he said it lights up at night. It also has a new PC. The NEMA tag looks deliberatly scratched off, but I know it's 70W HPS because all the HPS lights around here are either 70 or 250W HPS (or 50 if recently installed by NGrid).

Is your city going on a rapid westy and crouse-hinds replacement spree?
This isn't my city. this is the town of Newport. The lights are owned by the electric company, not the cities and towns. NGrid isn't on a replacing spree, but it's not like they carry around replacement doors for lights that were made 30 years ago. If they have a door, they'll put a new door on but usually they don't which means new fixture time, as they're required to fix damaged lights or replace them. It was just relamped a year or two ago so I'm not going to report it. If I find out it's not working, then I'll report it. But here's the streetview if you wanted to see it. The streetview is also from 2012.
