Theres one for sale on E-bay converted to HPS though. I think it has it's original glass too.

Alot of the ones we have here have the original acrylic lens. I also like the way the acrylic lens looks in the L-150.

How can you tell the acrylic lens from the glass? Is the pattern different or do you need a sharp eye to tell the difference?
Antstar85   [Sep 05, 2012 at 02:54 AM]
Oh very easy to tell from the ground. The acrylic appear more cloudy and have a different patern but the same shape as the glass. I have one, I'll get a photo of it when I get a chance.

Could you do a comparison of the glass and acrylic side-by-side? Thanks. Cool

That plastic lens I sent you also go's to the OV-15. so you'll be abl to see first hand.

Cool. Has the glass refractor kept the same pattern as it originally did even with the coopers and AELs today?
Mercuryvapor123   [Sep 05, 2012 at 03:23 AM]
I'm not shure I think so.

Best way to tell if it's original, if you have a high optical zoom camera (like 12x or more) or you can use camcorder or binoculars or even telescope and see if there's a "W" logo in the middle (right direct in the middle) of the refractor....if it's there its a Westy refractor...if not there, its newer...
