Ahh they were 700W? I saw some M-1000s there that were 1000W MV... How do you know these were 700W? Were you by any chance there when they were removing the old ballasts? If so, I hope you got a few since 700W lamps and ballasts are near impossible to find nowadays.

No I was not there. I konw they were 700 mv because the one on the right had a 70 on it, I got a 700watt ballast from ge a year ago. Cool

That's odd... These lights are both from the 60s before the NEMA tags were invented. Neutral Was it a NEMA tag or just generic number decals or was it written in marker?

It was a long time ago that I saw the 70 on it. So you are right, It was hard to see it was not a tag.

There's a finned Westinghouse OV-50 in New Kensington, PA.
