Westinghouse OV-15!
These are NOT common here at all. This was found randomly while surfing google maps streetview. I do this to get pictures and any mercs that i may not have seen since i've never gone down certain streets. There were three in a row in this street with one HPS OVC at the end of the road.

I'd like an OV-15 someday.

LOL yeah but yours are HPs, these are MV. Razz Laughing they don;t replace ballasts here so any older fixture has its original ballast. Cool

Want a factory HPS OV-15? Razz We have a bunch of those, 70s and 80s versions are available.

BTW, there are some M-400s in the GTA, one on Steeles, several on Dufferin, and a MV one at Castle Frank subway. The last one is also accompanied by the only known M-250Rs in the GTA. Also still MV. Cool

oh nice! i want an M-250R. Razz we only have M-250R1s, M-250A2 FCOs, and the occasional M-250A. I know of only one M-250R and i don't even know if it works. there are a couple at an abandoned rest station off the interstate. I'd love to pull into that at like 3AM sometime and rescue those lights. They're on wood poles that are dropping like flies.

BTW, another update, the R2 in front of my house was just off for five minutes. i no longer jsut hot restruck. it blinked about seven times before sucessfully striking and only stayed on long enough to warm up and it shut off again long enough to restrike and now it just came back on again. i wonder what will fail first, the lamp or the igniter. Maybe if i wait i can score a new fixture? Razz Laughing

Yeah, the M-250R is very rare here. I'm not even sure why that station got GE cobras in the bus driveway too as all the other stations either had Powerlite (ones opened in 1966) or Line Materials lights (ones opened in 1968).

Speaking of rest stops, there's a abandoned one here with a bunch of old fluorescents and floods.

Sounds like the M-250R2 is blinking is like the R47 that was cycling weirdly. I have a vid of it on here. Razz
