Pole in the road? Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Sep 24, 2014 at 01:45 AM]
Yeah. Laughing What the heck is that all about? The pole is on the wrong side of the curb. Laughing They must have widened the road or something. This is in the other side of Cranston from where I live. The pole doesn't look that old either. probably 10 years old at the most, which is a newborn compared to a lot of the poles around here!

Apparently, they couldn't move the pole to somebody's property Confused

I think the road was probably widened after the pole was put in. The road has at least been repaved since the pole was put in, as there's no patch around the pole.

sarcasm right model25? I've seen it here but on roads under construction. they will stop consturction pending removing the poles, sometimes even pave the roads around the poles. but the section of the road is cordoned off.
Model25FanForever   [Sep 24, 2014 at 12:03 PM]
Yea in construction cases I have but a finished road with no work being done I haven't
streetlight98   [Sep 24, 2014 at 08:53 PM]
Yeah this is definitley not permanent. It must confuse the heck out of the plow drivers lol.

Instead of putting a longer bracket up for the light they just moved the pole closer to the road. Laughing

LOL. These tapered elliptical arms were used in the 60s and 70s so this arm's been here a while. The M-250R2 looks like a mid-90s one.

A while back, I saw on LG a streetlight in Europe installed in the parking lane, and was eventually hit.
streetlight98   [Sep 27, 2014 at 01:53 AM]
I've been in parking lots where the light is installed in the middle of the space and yet someone still decides to park there and has half their car sticking out into the aisle. Laughing
