Dead M-250R2 Pole Number
|
Here's the pole number of the non-working GE M-250R2. 18-35 is the pole number. This is because the camp has power lines coming into it off the main road. The pole on the main road from which these lines come from is pole 18. So rather than give the camp's poles their own numbers, the first pole is 18-10, second is 18-15, third is 18-3, fourth is 18-35, etc. There's no special formula they follow, but this is what they did in this situation. Sometimes they'll do something like 18-1, 18-2, 18-3, etc. If it's only one pole (like if the distance between powerlines and a house is too far, they'll add a pole) it's usually always 18-50 or 18-84 (why they choode -84, I don't know, but that's usually the number they choose lol)
If a pole is added at the beginning of a street (before pole 1) the first pole is called 1-50, so the road's poles are numbers 1-50, 1, 2, 3, 4,...
