Well, four years later this light still doesn't work.

It looks very remote, maybe NGrid can't find it

Yeah it's on a private campground and lighting a dirt road (and the pole is setback from said road at least 10ft). Definitely reachable with a bucket truck, since they wouldn't have installed it, but National Grid is infamous for poor records keeping so it's entirely possible they can't find the light. When Cranston went LED, the public works director told me in an email that there were dozens of inconsistencies between what NGrid said was on the pole and what was actually on the pole. In some cases there was no light on the pole at all! (And in a couple rare cases there were lights on the pole but no NGrid record of them!) For the most part those two issues were uncommon but it was a very common issue, in cranston at least, for NGrid to have the incorrect information on file about the light (i.e. wattage and lamp type). The DPW director had said there were several issues with the wattage on file not being the actual wattage installed and some lights on file as MV or HPS where the actual light was the opposite.

Could be abandoned?

I suppose, but I don't think so. Someone is probably paying for the light. Likely the camp. Don't think the city is paying for the light since it wasn't replaced with an LED (and is buried inside the camp property). Normally when the city does pay for a lease light on private property it's a flood light installed on a pole for the main road.
