Yeah it does look like a Ontario setup. We actually have similar square concrete poles too.

Those square concrete poles are made by a company called Dura-Stress, I saw their factory not far from my Grandpas in the Leesburg area. Florida even has power poles made of these poles!

Ah cool! Yeah Florida is full of these poles! I actually like them better than the round concrete poles. There's all different types on arms on these poles too. Trusses, cantilevers, upsweeps, underbraced upsweeps, you name it! You can see a double-armed upweep version behind the palm trees.

Ahh, the ones here in Ontario are made by Stress-crete or USI. They're mostly mostly used with those shoebox path lights now but back in the 50s they were used with the S shaped arms and gumballs. Some have since been upgraded to tapered E arms and cobras.

Yeah I remember seeing pics of those. Those mini gumballs sure were beauties! So shiny and retro looking. Very Happy
